Brett Favre broke Dan Marino's record for career touchdown passes Sunday, zipping No. 421 to Greg Jennings in the first quarter of Green Bay's 23-16 victory over the Minnesota Vikings.

Colts corral Broncos

Peyton Manning completed 20 of 27 passes for 193 yards and three touchdowns, and Joseph Addai rushed for 136 yards and a score to lead the Indianapolis Colts to a 38-20 victory over the Denver Broncos.

Chiefs sink Chargers

With Philip Rivers melting down, the Kansas City Chiefs shocked the San Diego Chargers 30-16, scoring 24 consecutive points in the second half.

Cal moves to No. 3

Saturday's 31-24 victory over Oregon coupled with an avalanche of upsets involving top-10 teams helped Cal jump up three places to No. 3 in the AP Top 25 on Sunday. Meanwhile, LSU edged past USC for the top spot, even though the Trojans remained undefeated. LSU received 33 first-place votes from the media panel and 1,593 points. USC got 32 first-place votes and 1,591 points.

U.S. captures Cup

The United States won enough of the singles matches Sunday to capture the Presidents Cup for the second consecutive time, giving the Americans an international victory in cup competition for the first time since 1993. Canadian Mike Weir won the final two holes to beat Tiger Woods and send his country home happy.
