Nobody was injured Tuesday night after the second drive-by shooting in 2½ weeks at a Ceres house near Carroll Fowler Elementary School, police said.
The shooting occurred shortly before midnight in the 2100 block of Moffett Road, according to Sgt. Jose Berber.
Shot were fired into an occupied home, Berber said.
At least a half-dozen shell casings of different ammunition sizes were found around the house and a car parked in the driveway. A Molotov cocktail that had not exploded was found inside the car, Berger said.
A drive-by at the home also occurred July 25 and a shooting between occupants in two cars driving near the home on Moffett took place in May.
No one was injured in either of those shootings, which took place at night.
Berber said detectives believe the shootings are gang-related.
Anyone with information about the shootings is encouraged to call Detective Derek Perry at (209) 538-5730.
