Dear Mayor Gary Soiseth,
Thank you for saving my life. Without you, I would not have found my second chance, I would have been put to sleep. I have no words to explain, but I will forever keep you in my heart. You are the one who helped guide me to my new mommy.
If I could, mayor, I would lick you from your head to your toes. I want everyone to know, if the mayor hadn’t posted my picture on that thing called Facebook, I would be dead. Instead, my new mommy saw the photo and drove 13 hours from New Mexico to come get me and give me a new life. On the way back, we visited the Golden Gate Bridge, Pismo Beach and Disneyland and I completed a 5K run with her over the Fourth of July weekend. I am learning how to boogie-board, ride a paddle boat, and I took my first camping trip.
Knowing where my life started, and where I would be today if not for your help, is beyond anything I deserve. I can’t explain how lucky I am, but I know my journey is just beginning.

Every time I think of you, Mayor Soiseth, please know my little heart smiles. Thank you for saving my life.
I am sharing a little bit of my story with The Bee in hopes of reaching out to the beautiful little town of Turlock. . I have many friends at the Turlock Animal Shelter, and I worry every day about them finding a new home like mine.
Here is where me and my new mommy need your help. We are sharing my story to help inspire other families to help save the lives of other dogs, just as mine was saved.
For the first family that walks into the Turlock Animal Shelter holding a copy of this story, my mommy and I will cover the adoption fees, just as the mayor covered mine. It has already been arranged through the shelter.
If Mayor Soiseth can save one life through his random act of kindness, maybe we can save millions of other dogs and cats by sharing this story.
With all of my love, barks and nibbles,
