While parked in the last parking space to the south in front of the Greyhound bus station, I had a chuckle or two. A city bus passed in front of me with a very big sign reading, “Every drop of water is precious, conserve it.”
All the while I’m watching a city water pipe (there are two) wrapped in black masking tape dripping two lines of water very fast. I had been in the same spot a week before, it was dripping then, too. I wondered how long it had been wasting “precious water.” Also, would they fine themselves as they do other water wasters?
I will be parked in the same spot in three or four weeks. Hopefully the drips will be fixed.
