We need to find a way to get poor people off welfare and get them to start paying their fair share of taxes. Reducing welfare expense and increasing taxes from poor people could well eliminate the need for us to pay any more taxes.
But the only way to fix the welfare problem is to create permanent jobs that pay a wage sufficient for people to care for their families with a little extra to get ahead.
And the only way to create those jobs is to let newly created capital circulate freely through the economy. The only way to let newly created capital circulate freely is to strike down laws, regulations and policies that result in a concentration of wealth.
Oh, this is a dilemma. It would cost us about one-third of our income to insulate us from one-tenth of our income going to taxes.
