A simple lesson in economics

I watch the antics of our "intelligent" legislature and find it hard to believe that they were actually elected and re-elected! We have a group of people running the country who have little or no knowledge of economics. The socialist president wants more government dependency and less responsibility of the individual.

Socialism ignores the realities of the world and gives us political Ponzi schemes. I would like to respectfully offer a simple lesson in economics that even our elected reps can understand, in spite of their free-luncn mentality. Representatives and senators, please note that if the government takes in $1 in tax revenue and spends $2, you will have a problem. I hope this is not too confusing.

The taxpayers are not cash cows that will continue to give, without complaint. President Calvin Coolidge had it right when he said, "The world is full of educated fools." Witness what has been going on in Washington, D.C.
