I find it fascinating to read the predictable outrage by letter writers, including educators, to the thought of any mention of intelligent design in the public school classroom. Their intolerance toward any view different from their strongly held "scientific" conclusions is quite telling. I predict that these same individuals, if asked, would have to admit that they view people with strong religious beliefs as intolerant and opposed to creative ways of thinking. Oh, how we have evolved!
