Dobbs, talk about what you know

I have been a fan of CNN's Lou Dobbs for several years. Recently, Dobbs has become an "independent," and feels he can judge the likes of John McCain and Barack Obama. One of his latest tirades is because Obama has suggested that all children should learn Spanish. My, how times have changed.

When I attended high school in the 1930s, a must for graduating was that you took a year of either French or Spanish. Since I was a child of the Depression years, I didn't think I would ever get to France, so I took Spanish. It is a beautiful language and, on occasion, I am able to use it.

I have no idea where the sanctimonious Dobbs went to school. I just wish he would dwell on subjects he knows about and get off politics.
