Leaders don't follow 'good books'

Regarding "Middle East violence viewed up close" (March 23, Page B-1): My experience in reading the Koran, Bible and Torah was the underlying message of peace and honorable treatment of their fellow man. The zealot leaders who preach hate are not living up to their responsibilities. Teaching and preaching hate has not, is not, and never will be a respectable way to lead people toward everlasting peace in heaven, on earth, or wherever your spirit takes you.

Maybe they could throw their "good books" away and gather into the "Church of Bob," which has only two sentences in its "good book": "Do good things. Be nice to people."
