Will China treat us like they do Tibet?

It was so sad to see in The Bee (March 20) the pictures of the San Joaquin Valley's young men and women who have died in the Iraq war.

There is no easy way to win this war because it involves international disputes that have gone on for decades. It is also putting America into more trillions of dollars in debt.

Alan Greenspan indicated, when he left the Federal Reserve Board, that if we didn't restrain government spending and federal debt, we would have dire consequences and eventually have no lenders for the federal loans that hold our economy together. We now have China holding many of our loans and, since we know what they are doing in Tibet, how can we trust them to care about the welfare of America?
