Letters to the Editor

Be more specific about your 'statistics'

In response to "Reduce abortion: Get married" (Feb. 5, Letters): I love it when people support their claims by vaguely stating "according to statistics." What statistics or research is the writer talking about? Is this research valid? Peer-reviewed? Was it funded by a partisan think tank? I can't tell you how many times I hear that marriage will solve everything: homosexuality, sexually transmitted diseases, abortion. Seriously, do your homework if you want to sound educated.
