Class of '65 wants its money back

On Feb. 1, the Central Valley Gang Impact Task Force along with the FBI raided Road Dog Cycle in Denair. The owner, Bob Holloway, is a member of the Turlock High School Class of '65. During the search of his home, members of the Task Force took an envelope containing $660 belonging to our class reunion committee. Holloway tried to explain that the money belonged to the Class of '65, but was told that the money was considered assets and it was seized.

The money was to be deposited into our bank account Friday morning. This money has nothing to do with the issues the Task Force might have with Holloway, his business or his family. It should be returned immediately. It should not be considered evidence. There are three people who can testify that the money was left with Holloway on Jan. 31 for deposit into our class bank account.

Our plans for a spring barbecue have been put on hold because that money was earmarked for the supplies needed to plan this function. The members of the Turlock High School Class of '65 would like to know how to retrieve our money.
