To the writer of "Punished for being responsible" (Feb. 5, Letters) and anyone else who has had the animal control "little Hitlers" come to your door under the pretense of community service: If they are not on official business, such as a complaint against you, just ask them to leave; they have no right on your property to snoop around and ask little kids questions about pets. They did almost the same thing to us. If they have this much time and people to go door to door, perhaps they should cut back on staffing and save us some money. Try to get them to respond to a complaint and all of a sudden they are understaffed.
