Back in 1949, Rogers and Hammerstein's hit musical "South Pacific" opened on Broadway. One of the songs of that musical, "I'm Gonna Wash That Man Right Outa My Hair," can be applied to our current elections if one follows the directions on a bottle of shampoo -- lather, rinse, repeat.
In November, to the delight of millions, we will "wash that man right outa the White House" with our votes.
How and who Americans choose could come from a simple adaptation of those shampoo directions.
Cut spending -- cut taxes -- repeat.
