Deficits? Blame immigrants

As California faces a $10 billion deficit, I don't hear a single politician willing to tell the truth about it. In California the costs of our feeble attempts to protect our borders, the cost of free public education, free heath care and prison care for the illegal criminal population is the reason we are facing a $10 billion shortage. Faced with this economic reality, our Legislature ($10 billion in the red) and our federal government ($10 trillion in the red) are in a race to see who can be the first legislative body to provide cradle-to-grave health insurance, child care and income assistance.

President Kennedy had it right when he said, "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country." Today we want politicians who say, "Ask not what you can do for your country, but ask your country what it will do for you."
