Who goes to hell? God decides

In response to "Vote pro-abortion and you might go to hell" (Jan. 30, Letters): I am a Christian woman and took great offense to the letter. Not only am I a Christian, but I'm also a registered Democrat. Does that make me a bad person? Does that condemn me to hell? No.

I'd like to point out to the writer that Romans 3:23 says, "For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God." That means everyone. There's no one sin that's worse than another; they're all bad.

The great thing about Christianity is that our God is a forgiving God. He doesn't hold grudges. He is the only true judge of us and our sins. It's not fair for you to stand on a soapbox and call out millions of people when you have sins of your own.

The personal relationship with Jesus that so many of us have is special because it's personal -- between us and God. Period. No one else. Plain and simple.
