The top dogs get cushy retirements

In response to "Ban public employee unions now" (Jan. 23, Letters): The problem is our elected officials, who vote themselves huge retirement benefits. I spent 26 years working in a stressful, hostile environment with toxic chemicals and three mentally ill bosses. I will probably die from cancer. What do I get for my sacrifice? I receive $850 per month, from which I pay $100 for medical insurance. Yeah, I am so overpaid!
