Letters to the Editor

I'm always getting neighbors' mail

I agree with the writer ("Street needs permanent carrier," Jan. 15, Letters); our mail is mishandled. I do not open a letter without checking the address, as I get other people's mail. One day I got mail sent to five of my neighbors. I delivered it.

I am told our route is the longest one in Modesto -- no wonder I have a different carrier every day.

The price of stamps goes up, but our service doesn't improve.
