Just as bad as Gray Davis

The governor is not serious about cutting spending. The state should have saved money when the economy was strong. But no, they spent money wildly and the governor gave out pay raises to his staff.

He has done no better than the ousted Gray Davis. If he really wants to stop the spending, he needs to get everyone's attention.

He could start saving the taxpayers of California a lot of money by taking away the luxury vehicles politicians all drive, take away their gas cards, and take away their per diem, all paid for by us, the taxpayers. At last count, I believe their per diem was about $148 a day. Take away some of their perks and maybe they will stop their wild spending.
