Fresh recipes offer the best choices in '08

David Brooks ("Best presidents have the fewest open wounds," Dec. 20, Page B-7) announces a new product. Day-old bread or a fresh-baked intrigue? We have all the news and more on the old been-around politicians running for president. Let's face it, Barack Obama -- good or bad -- is fresh baked and appears very tasty to the American public's voracious appetite for something new and different. Bring him on -- until we are finished with him. Then we can look to another to be the savior of our insatiable quest for someone to exercise democracy for us. Meanwhile, what's on sale?
