I'm annoyed at the microscopic examination the media gives Mitt Romney over his Mormon faith. I lived in Idaho and Utah for five years and came away with the greatest respect for the Mormon friends I made -- honest, law-abiding, friendly.
I want a president who can get a handle on a health system out of control, on a national debt in the trillions, on an unwinnable war that's draining money from our social services, and work across the aisle on immigration and start working on water needs.
Romney was a good governor of Massachusetts, his father was a good governor of Michigan, and being Mormon didn't interfere with running those states. The media could cut Romney a little slack.
