In Oklahoma, the Muslim community wants to distribute the Koran using the state centennial seal and the state seal in an effort to further their religion.
The article that offends me most is the one that the federal government banned flag-folding ceremonies at the national cemeteries. According to the article, one person complained because the 11th fold honors Jewish veterans.
I am the commander of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 3154 in Sonora. My post has an honor guard and we conduct the flag-folding ceremony to honor our fellow fallen veterans when requested by the family. Our post deems it an honor and a privilege to present the folded flag to the family and thanking them for their loved one's service to our country.
When will we, as a country, ever wake up and quit being politically correct and take our country back?

Editor's note: The Department of Veterans Affairs later issued a clarification that the controversy had to do with the religious recitation that went along with the flag folding. The VA said the recitation should be read only if the family requests it.
