Limbaugh outshines Democrats

Forty-one Democratic senators signed a letter to silence a citizen's right to free speech. This letter was aimed to silence an influential radio talk show host, but in reality it was an attempt to silence our First Amendment right to free speech.

This radio talk show host decided to give this outrageous, brazen display of perverted power by Democratic senators some publicity by selling the letter on eBay and giving the proceeds to the Marine Corps-Law Enforcement Foundation, which gives scholarships to the children of Marines killed in the service of this country.

The letter sold for $2.1 million and the talk show host, Rush Limbaugh, matched the $2.1 million for a total of $4.2 million going to this cause. When the senators realized this, their leader, Harry Reid, made the most despicable, deceitful, sickening attempt on the floor of Congress to take credit for the remarkable turn of events. Senator Reid's words were those of a man accustomed to lying and cheating.

To add insult to injury, none of the 41 senators have refuted his words. The Democrats continue their classless, power-grabbing acts. Throw the bums out! This country deserves better.
