Do the right thing for injured actress

I was disappointed in Modesto Performing Arts when I read Jeff Jardine's update (Oct. 9, Page B-1) on Randi Lineé. It is a disgrace that MPA has not stepped up to pay her medical expenses. You would think a group that uses both adults and children in its shows would have insurance to cover accidents on the set, especially since this was not the first incident during rehearsals for "Peter Pan."

Children and chaperones of University Charter School were treated to an amazing encore performance after "Peter Pan" closed. Lineé sang several songs while in her brace. Even injured, she put on an amazing performance. She is truly a talented performer and Modesto is lucky to have her. Modesto Performing Arts needs to do the right thing.
