Once again, Central Catholic High School provided the support we seek as parents. This year the school brought "Rachel's Challenge" to our students and parents.
Rachel Joy Scott, the first student to die at Columbine High School, left a diary which challenged students everywhere to start a chain reaction of kindness and compassion. In today's world we hear so much about violence in our schools. Central Catholic students and staff embraced this challenge by hosting a kindness rally for students and a special evening workshop for parents.
As a parent, I am happy to support Central Catholic's formula to create loving, kind, Christian, intelligent young adults.
Thanks to Principal Melissa Bengtson and activities director Kari Henderson for bringing this tremendous program to the CCHS family as we all strive for the same goals.
