Veterinarian would make TID healthy

Rob Santos would make an outstanding Turlock Irrigation District director for District 4. Our family has known Santos for years while he served on the Chatom School Board. He also took part in Leadership Turlock and sponsors the Vet Club, where children learn about veterinary medicine. Other affiliations include the Turlock Historical Society, Turlock Downtown Association, the Northern San Joaquin Veterinary Association, and the Turlock Exchange Club where he served as president of each organization.

As a TID director, Rob would work to protect water rights on the Tuolumne River and make sure that farmers have an adequate and reliable source of water as well as to ensure that the citizens of Turlock have clean drinking water. While maintaining an efficient operation within the TID, he would also work to provide farmers and residents with affordable and reasonable power rates. Santos would continue to explore clean and renewable sources of energy such as wind and solar, and support efforts to restore salmon on the Tuolumne River.

Rob Santos would be an active TID director. The employees and ratepayers will benefit from his leadership and dedication.
