Three backed for Ceres school board

The Ceres Unified Teachers' Association is endorsing three school board candidates: Faye Lane, Jim Kinard and Donald McKim.

Each is well-qualified.

Lane was employed for many years in the district as a project secretary, served on various committees and represented classified employees. Kinard knows curriculum and student needs, having just retired with 30 years in the district. McKim has finance, human resource and community experience.

These candidates will bring a needed positive change in the district directed toward professionalism, forthrightness, public accountability, respect and balance that have been lost. These candidates will be cooperative, will communicate with and research all sides of any issue, and will make independent decisions benefiting the district as a whole.
