Letters to the Editor

In that case, I prefer to be 'wrong'

I would like to know when it became "un-American" to speak your mind, especially if you're speaking against the government. Have we become such a fascist nation that if people speak out against or question their government, they are seen as treasonous?

I don't see a problem with questioning or disagreeing with the way any administration runs our country. As citizens, we have every right to voice our opinion, whether or not it's in support of our government. I do find it funny that the people who call their fellow citizens "un-American" are naive enough to support any act our officials make blindly, just because it's what's right.

I have one thing to say to them: If voicing my opinion is wrong, I don't want to be right.
