Staff, police keep students safe

On Sept. 19, there was a lockdown at Central Valley High School. A student brought an unloaded gun to school. The police said it was inoperable. There were a few students that were also questioned. The lockdown was about 1½ hours long. The Ceres Police Department arrived fast and, together with the teachers and school staff, did a great job keeping us students safe during the lockdown. A big thanks to all of them.
