In response to "Mall security hounds rap artist" (Sept. 8, Letters): You came upon a situation afterwards and assume that the police are harassing this person even though you weren't there from the beginning. You have no idea what happened and why he was asked to leave. Right away you say the police are wrong. Yet you don't know what happened inside the mall and why the police had to be called. I say you are the one who is prejudiced -- against the police. If I come upon a situation, I never assume to know what is going on. The police are doing their jobs and I am glad that I don't have to do it.
Too many people complain about the police, and yet they are the first ones you call when you are in trouble. Let the police do their job.
