Why would anyone object to the use of facilities at “Cal State for a mega crusade,” such as Greg Laurie’s “No revivals on public campuses” (Aug. 24, Letters). I can’t think of a better place for such a public event to happen. Anything involving 150 churches, and 15,000 people, to a free event, is certainly worth having. I, for one, planned to be all three performances.
It was a very informative program for those interested in learning more about faith, and the “Doubting Thomases” who were willing to listen. Isn’t that what a college campus is for?
I’m certainly glad my taxes are being used in this manner. Not everyone wants a good education. I still do, and I’m 82 years old, and counting.
