Earlier this spring my son made the comment that he hardly had seen any magpies so far, and I agreed. Also, it seems the crow population is way down. I have found dead birds of both species; one day, a crow laying dead between our cows. I don't know how the "experts" feel about these birds dropping dead, but perhaps Mother Nature is cutting back these marauding birds so that their populations won't get out of hand. Just a thought.
Anyone else out there who feels the birds are diminishing?
