Mountain Springs would help Sonora

More jobs, better roads, beautiful landscaping -- the Mountain Springs development would be the best thing that could happen to Sonora. The gorgeous golf course is already in -- surrounding it would be well-designed town houses, greenbelts, walking paths, waterfalls. This would create a lot of construction opportunities.

Mountain Springs would improve roads, beautify the area and gain more tax dollars to maintain infrastructure (additional firefighters, emergency services and law enforcement; more jobs, jobs, jobs). The writer of "Mountain Springs would trouble Sonora" (Aug. 15, Letters) didn't mention the closing of a major food market in Sonora due to lack of customers. Sonora could use good-paying jobs.
