I recently returned from vacation and discovered that three of our county supervisors, apparently unwilling to put the matter up to a vote of the people, decided to unilaterally make "Salida Now" the official plan for Salida. I am wondering if any of the three supervisors received "campaign donations" from the developers sponsoring "Salida Now" (a k a "Let Salida Grow") and, if so, what were the amounts?
It would be disheartening to think the supervisors' decision to not allow the people to vote on this important issue might have been influenced by monetary donations made by the developers who would profit from the Salida Now development plans.
