Responding to The Bee's front page question: "Does being a first lady qualify her for top job?" (July 29, Page A-1): When Bill Clinton ran for president, he declared to the world that when he became president we would get "two for one," as his wife, Hillary, would become co-president. If Hillary Clinton becomes president, then Bill would become co-president. The law prohibits anyone from serving more than eight years in the White House. Since both Bill and Hillary have served eight years in the White House, the law prohibits the Clintons from serving again. Imagine a Republican trying to pull this off — there would be investigation after investigation!
