We won war; let's end occupation

Calling the continuing U.S. military action in Iraq a "war" is an insult to the American military, which defeated the Iraqi military in only three weeks in 2003. The Iraq war ended more than four years ago with a decisive American victory. Since then, the United States has been engaged in an occupation of Iraq. It's time to stop arguing over how the United States can "achieve victory in Iraq" and accept the reality that we've overstayed our welcome in Iraq. It's time to bring the troops home. I'm sure there are numerous ways we can put $12 billion per month of the taxpayers' money to a more productive use.
