Came illegally? You're no immigrant

According to Ruben Navarrette Jr., if we oppose legalizing these millions of illegal aliens, then we are racist and anti-Latino. It couldn't possibly be that we believe in the rule of law and that illegal is illegal in any country. I would like to see a list of the percentage of illegals from different countries. It would probably show that the majority of them are Latinos. Instead of coming to our country and protesting for their rights, why don't they stay in their own countries and protest for their rights there?

And by the way, Mr. Navarrette, we are not anti-immigrant. We are anti-illegal aliens. I have worked with and know many wonderful Latinos. My daughter-in-law is Latino and recently became a citizen. These people are not immigrants; immigrants come here legally.
