Since he was elected, President Obama has been the target of criticism and derision. He has been challenged about his citizenship, his love of America, his religious beliefs. If these critics have any definitive evidence to backup these allegations, then please produce them.
I say shame on all those who have accused the president of not loving his country, of being a closet Islamist or overtly Islamist.
These accusers are closed-minded and obsessed with the defeat of any legislation proposed by President Obama. The worst offenders are members the do-nothing House of Representatives and, since the last election, the do-nothing Senate.
The Republican Party is grasping at straws. They want to win the White House so badly they are willing to say of do anything to achieve it.
The president has his flaws; but the name-calling needs to stop. I don’t support everything President Obama does of says; but I won’t resort to name calling. Once people start calling names, they seem to have lost their self respect and their ability to reason.
Respect to office of The President of the United States and, by association, the man who occupies that office.
