Re “Pecking at noisy urban chickens” (Page D1, Feb. 15): At least chickens do not smash through their neighbor’s fence, nor do they bark all night (or all day if the owner is away). And chickens give you something in return for the feed you have to buy for them. At $3-plus for a dozen eggs, chickens more than earn their keep. And since when is Oakdale a metropolis? We’re still small-town and loving it.
