Police arrested two people on drug, weapons and child endangerment charges this week after finding more than 200 pounds of marijuana and guns in a Turlock home.
According to authorities, Turlock police detectives and the Narcotics Enforcement Team served a search warrant in the 1300 block of Picard Lane on Wednesday.
Police found the marijuana, in various stages of processing, which they estimated would have a street value of more than $40,000. They also found and seized two guns. One of the weapons was an illegal assault rifle, authorities said.
Police arrested Jaime Blancas, 28, on charges of possession for sales of marijuana, being a felon in possession of a firearm, possession of an assault weapon, felon in possession of a stunt gun, and child endangerment. Ana Blancas, 27, was arrested on charges of possession for sales of marijuana.
