Students got hands-on lessons in a variety of scientific fields Saturday in Turlock during the fourth annual Science Day at California State University, Stanislaus. Youths from kindergarten through eighth grade learned and interacted during demonstrations on physics, rocks and minerals, fossils, preparing for disasters, mechanics and more. They also were able to take a journey through the universe in a planetarium show set up in the Naraghi Hall of Science.
