Ripon police on Friday arrested a Manteca man suspected of exposing himself about five times to a gas station employee over two weeks, according to a news release. Detectives arrested Armando Navarro, 46, on suspicion of indecent exposure.
On Oct. 1, Ripon police responded to a report of indecent exposure at the Chevron gas station in the 1400 block of Colony Road in Ripon. The suspect was gone when officers arrived, but the employee gave the officers a description of the suspect and his vehicle along with the vehicle's license plate number.
On Friday, police Detective Josh Sweeten identified Navarro as the suspect. Detectives went to Navarro's home and arrested him. Ripon police said Navarro told detectives he "accidentally" exposed himself in public.
