Three people were arrested early Monday after deputies responded to a report of a man beating and threatening to kill his girlfriend, according to the Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department.
Deputies received a call at 2:17 a.m. from a woman saying her boyfriend, Adam Lahman, had assaulted her, then left the home in Salida where the altercation took place, according to Sgt. Alan Tate.
Officers stopped Lahman after a short vehicle pursuit and pulled him over at Sisk Road and Vintage Drive. He was taken into custody on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and felony domestic violence in connection with making criminal threats.
A passenger in the car, Greg Williams, 25, fled, Tate said. He was arrested on a felony warrant when authorities found him two hours later. He was treated for lower leg injuries caused by a dog in the K-9 unit. The driver, Summer Warren, was arrested on suspicion of resisting or delaying a police investigation. Children in the car were released to family members.
