The workweek got off to a mild start, with more of the same ahead before it gets a little toasty. According to the Modesto Irrigation District, the high in Modesto was 86 degrees Monday. That’s several degrees below normal for this time of year. The National Weather Service predicts little change Tuesday and Wednesday, with an expected high of 90. Temperatures should drop into the upper 50s and low 60s overnight. A warming trend is expected to start Wednesday, with highs hitting the upper 90s by Thursday and heading back toward the century mark for the weekend.
