Clear skies are a welcome sight for Modesto City Schools officials counting down the construction days for Gregori High School in Salida. Building equipment is reflected Sunday in rain puddles at the construction site. Work began in December, with the project expected to take 860 days to complete. Officials plan to open the school to ninth- and 10th-graders in fall of 2010. When all of the furniture and electronics are through the door, the school is expected to cost about $150 million.
