WINTER BOOK SALE: The Friends of the Turlock Public Library will hold its winter book sale Jan. 25 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Jan. 26 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. A "Members Only Night" will be held Jan. 24 from 4 to 8 p.m. Individuals can purchase a membership at the door for $10, beginning at 3:30 p.m. All proceeds will go to the library to pay for nonbudgeted items, including children's programs, shelving, newspaper microfilms and much more.
