Keeping track of Santa
It started as a wrong number more than 50 years ago: A Sears store in Colorado published a mistake in a newspaper ad inviting children to call Santa. A boy calling for Santa instead got an officer at the North American Aerospace Defense Command. The officer's quick thinking led to NORAD's annual Santa Tracker, available at www.noradsanta.org. The NORAD Tracks Santa Web site starts tracking at 1 a.m. Monday.
