Building for school and community

Members of the community are invited to attend the dedication of Spratling Middle School's multipurpose room in Keyes today at 5 p.m. The building will serve as a gym and cafeteria and provide space for the after-school programs at Spratling. Spratling Middle School, at 5277 Washington Road, opened in January 2002. It has used a double-classroom portable building as its multipurpose room and cafeteria until the opening of the 5,000-square-foot building in August. There will be light refreshments after the ceremony.
