A Modesto restaurant was selected to host a visit from a national media and restaurant marketing company in early May.
Mike’s Grillhouse, at 3801 Pelandale Ave., will be featured on “America’s Best Restaurants Roadshow,” showcasing popular dishes and featuring an extensive on-camera interview with owner Kyle Raymond, according to a news release.
Raymond was a longtime manager of Mike’s Grillhouse before he took it over in the summer of 2024.
The restaurant serves an American menu including burgers, steaks, seafood and sandwiches. Popular house specialties that may be featured on the episode include the pot roast sandwich, chicken Marsala and the Grill House burger, according to America’s Best Restaurants.
Crews will film at Mike’s on Wednesday, May 7, from 9 a.m. to noon. The episode’s premiere date will be announced on ABR’s Facebook page and will be featured on its website.
Restaurants featured on the “ABR Roadshow” are selected based on customer reviews, menu items, social media presence and level of involvement in their community. They are found through customer nominations, internal vetting or by a restaurant applying to be featured.
Restaurants across 46 states have been visited by the company, and more 2,000 episodes have been filmed.
