The Turlock Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at 1111 E. Tuolumne Road received the Covenant Care Inc.Chairman's Award for Facility of the Year.
The Turlock center won the award as the top facility from among the more than 40 nursing centers operated by Covenant Care nationwide.
The award is given by the company to the facility that is the best at exceeding clinical standards for nursing and therapy, has positive state survey outcomes, has low turnover, shows positive employee relations and has proven to be innovative in improving patient care.
Allstate announced that agent Scott Fahlgren has qualified for membership in the 2008 Million Dollar Round Table.
The Round Table is an international association of more than 35,000 of the world's top life insurance and financial service professionals from 68 nations and territories.
Fahlgren, who is part of the Allstate agency at 2937 Veneman Ave. in Modesto, provides customers with variable annuity, variable life and mutual fund products as well as life insurance services.
He earned the Personal Financial Representative title after passing the NASD series 6 and series 63 securities license exams. He also has completed extensive Allstate training curriculum.
Lia Sophia, a national direct sales firm specializing in fashion jewelry, awarded top honors for its Excellent Beginnings Program Achievers to Cara Heiner of Modesto for outstanding sales accomplishments and professionalism.
Heiner earned this honor in her first 15 weeks by attaining certain sales levels and and sharing Lia Sophia strategies with other new advisers. The Excellent Beginnings Program rewards advisers who stay on track in the first four months in business.
